Ever since I’d started working with Yuna, we’d been styling my medium-long hair with waves and curtain bangs (with subtle variations here and there). She’s always had her finger on the pulse with what I like, what I’d be willing to try, and what works for me.

Today, to her surprise, I came in with a spontaneous request—a structured, cropped style with quirky, see-through bangs I’d recently seen in a movie. It may sound straightforward, especially with a photo for reference, but it’s not a mere matter of “copying and pasting”. I have a different hair type from the actress; I don’t have time, energy, nor real skill to style my hair everyday like the movie character got to behind the scenes. Yuna had to adapt the style to my hair with all its particularities, which isn’t even always possible or, if done, can be a bit of a gamble for any stylist since the outcome will likely deviate (could be good or bad) from the photo reference somehow. Yuna is amazing!!!! I booked my appointment at last minute, it's pretty late but she still took me in and be extremely patient asking my preference and concerns. Her technique is so decent that my hair looks great even with simple blow dry. I'm more than happy with the result!!!!!!
